GE Model 205
The GE 205 was one of a set of five tabletop radios of a similar design released by the GE corporation in 1946/1947 (need more information on dates of manufacture). The GE Model 200, GE Model 203 and GE Model 205.
The panel light in these radios is a standard C7 type bulb most associated with night lights and Christmas bulbs and are readily available at most grocery stores. 115 volt, 10 watt (max), screw base.
Model# | Material | Color | Height | Width | Depth |
200 | Plastic | Brown | 7½" | 12" | 7½ |
201 | Plastic | White | 7½" | 12" | 7½ |
202 | Plastic | Brown | 7½" | 12" | 7½ |
203 | Wood | Mahogany | 8¼" | 13" | 7 15/16" |
205 | Wood | Maple | 8¼" | 13" | 7 15/16" |
It seems that GE did not make a model 204, or if they did there is no information about them or a representative specimen that I can find anywhere.
